Auxerre failed to rise to the top of the Premier League standings France (Ligue 1) when they were held goalless draw by Monaco, Monday.
Auxerre, who can rise to the top of the standings with one victory remained in third place, but joined the league leaders Girondins Bordeaux and Montpellier second team which collects 56 points.
Montpellier and Auxerre, both have played 30 games but the defending champion Bordeaux still have two games in hand and may be favored for a degree.
