English FA Chief Executive Retreat Watmore
London (ANTARA News / Reuters) - Chief Executive of Football Association (FA) English Ian Watmore resignation Monday, less than a year he occupied the chair's office.
In a statement on the FA page (www.thefa.com), the FA chairman David Triesman said: "Ian Watmore handed him to me mengunduran Friday."
"I asked him to rethink that attitude this week. But he says his attitude will not change and I get the feeling very sorry."
"There will be a board meeting tomorrow evening. I can not comment before the issue after the meeting that," he said.
Watmore worked for Triesman when he served as minister of "Innovation, Universities and Skills".
He has been known as a humble person, but recently pulled out some ideas about the FA Cup returned to competition like the surging past.
Media reported today there are striking differences between Watmore and Triesman.
Discharge is not expected to affect Watmore hopes the FA to host the World Cup in 2018 or 2022 when FIFA made the election in December.
