Bangkok (AFP) - A Thai air force soldiers were killed in three days of street clashes with anti-government protesters in the capital city of Bangkok, an emergency ministry official said Monday.

The official said the number of people injured increased to 244 persons. Among those who were injured, six foreigners, he said.

A member of the Air Force 31-year-old was shot while on patrol Sunday night in the restive district of Silom, a campsite on the outskirts of the heavily guarded Red Shirt, the official said.
