From 13 Thousand File, 7500 New Victim Paid Lumpur Lapindo
Citizen redress Lapindo mudflow victims, Porong, Sidoarjo, is not fully paid by Minarak PT Lapindo Jaya (MLJ). Of the payment deadline in 2012, till now still about 41 percent had paid off.
"About 41 percent were still not finished. We try to have paid off all of 2012," said Vice President of PT MLJ, Andi Darussalam Tabusalla, told reporters after the review of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at the mud-retaining dam 25 points, Porong, Sidoarjo, Monday ( 29/3/2010).
Andi said, from about 13 thousand files belong to victims of mud, which was completed just purely about 7500 files. He hoped, until the time limit specified, it tried to comply with the president's instructions. Despite financial problems plagued PT MLJ.
"Money problems become our problems. But we'll try what we have now and how far we can make the most of," he said.
Earlier, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono when giving a speech, asked PT Lapindo to immediately complete the payments to mudflow victims.
