AU Yemen bombing al-Qaeda camp
Liputan6.com, Sanaa: Yemen Air Force has conducted attacks on a suspected training camp of al-Qaeda in southern Yemen, Monday (15 / 3). The attack carried out one day after an air strike in the same area killed two senior insurgents.
"Air Force has conducted attacks on training camps of al-Qaeda in Moudia district in the province of Abyan," said a brief statement from the Ministry of Defense Yemen. The Ministry did not say whether anyone was killed or injured in the second attack.
Previously it was reported that an air strike Sunday night against "terrorist cells" in the area Moudia killed two senior members of al-Qaeda. "Our air force has conducted attacks against the terrorist elements are planning attacks on vital installations, two al-Qaeda leaders have been killed," said a statement on the Ministry of Defense.
