Grenade Explosion Kills Two People
Liputan6.com, Bangkok: A gunman threw a grenade M-67 into a police station in southern inland province of Pattani, Thailand. The bomb killed at least two people and injuring 42 others.
Grenade throwing action occurred on Wednesday (21 / 4) at around 08:30 local time, in the town of Pattani. At that time police were lined up to salute the flag and reporting tasks. According to one witness, a grenade was thrown by one of two men riding a motorcycle.
Police blamed separatist militants responsible for the grenade attack. Conflict with the separatist group has claimed at least 4000 people have been killed since January 2004 in the South of Thailand consists of three provinces namely Yala, Pattani, Narathiwat, and some parts of the province of Songkla.
