Bithday Jubing Vesak celebrations

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - classical Pegitar Jubing Kristianto enliven the Feast of Vesak 2554 in Buddhist monasteries Ekayana Centre, Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta, Friday (28/05/2010).

Jubing, famous for his classical guitar, brought the "Holy Vesak" and enthralled thousands of people who follow the Buddhist Vesak Pujabhakti since this morning. Jubing presents his work on a stage that there was indeed in the area's monasteries.

Kristianto Jubing famous guitarist through much of his work, including "Daw Fantasy," "Rainbow Fantasy", and "Delman Fantasy." Day of Vesak celebrations in one of the largest monasteries in Jakarta is indeed packed with about 8,000 Buddhists.

Since this morning, a series of commemorations performed, among them, Pandipatta and other events which will still last until the evening. West Jakarta Mayor Djoko Ramadhan and legislators Ernawati Santoso Jakarta participated in the celebration of Vesak in the monasteries Ekayana.
