JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Central Hospital of the Army (Army Hospital) Gatot Subroto, Jakarta, to serve without cost cleft lip surgery. These operations are open to the public.

"To get this free maid, cleft lip patients can come directly to the surgical army hospital to register. After surgery patients will receive inpatient care one night. "Postoperative medications is also provided. All services are performed as well as free drug," he explained.

Free cleft surgery program is the result of cooperation with the Foundation of Metropolitan Army Hospital Care and Smile Train. "This program is a form of general public concern to the Army Hospital, and the evidence that we're not just chasing profits" said Chairunan.

However, the public interest is still low to use this free service. "Maybe socialization is still lacking. So, we need the help of the media to publicize them," he said.
