Astra 3000 Employees Need, Want?

SURABAYA, KOMPAS.com - PT Astra International Tbk and Astra Group in the last two years of 3000 requires new employees to be placed in six large divisions, including automotive, parts, finance, heavy equipment, and agribusiness.

"We currently have 6 brand division and every two years requires new employees, the new young graduates in 2007-2010, especially the D3, S1 and S2 from various departments," said Vice President-Chief Corporation Organization and Public Relations of PT Astra International Capital Tbk FX Sri Martono as confirmed in Surabaya, Tuesday (23/3/2010).

Letting Martono, an increase in market demand makes automotive division (Daihatsu) increase car production capacity from 218,000 units to 250,000 units. In addition, the agribusiness sector (Astra Agro Lestari), banking (Bank Permata), and the construction sector (Pama Group) also requires new energy.

He said, his department has been trying to work with the world of education, such as the ITS Surabaya, Airlangga University, Brawijaya University, Malang Muhamadiyah University, and Politeknik Negeri Malang.
