Islamabad (AFP / IRNA-OANA) - Pakistan, Friday, said the U.S. regulations concerning the examination of citizens in Pakistan American airport is discrimination and the government has urged the U.S. government to review the rules.

U.S. enforce regulations to check the whole body of citizens from 14 countries, including 13 Muslim countries and Cuba after a Nigerian citizen were arrested while allegedly trying to blow up an American passenger plane on Christmas Day.

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Malik Ahmad Khan told a National Assembly that the rules examination was insulting and prevent US-Pakistan relations since Pakistan nationals being targeted and humiliated by these regulations.

National Assembly, lower house of Parliament, discussed the matter while a member of the tribal areas that raised U.S. law. Members of the National Assembly had just ended a visit to the United States to oppose the examination at the Reagan International Airport, Washington, the second week of March.

Khan said the issue will also be discussed during the strategic dialogue.

The minister said that unfortunately is not a member of the National Assembly visited the United States on an official visit, but they come in a U.S. embassy programs.

But the government still would discuss the issue seriously with the U.S. government.

He asked members of parliament to contact the foreign affairs office before their visit to foreign countries so that appropriate arrangements can be made for them.

Muhammad Kamran Khan, anggpota parliament from tribal region, said six members of the National Assembly chose to end their visit and did not pass inspection.
