Suicide Bombings, Eleven People Killed
Liputan6.com, Lahore: suicide bombing occurred in an office building owned by a special investigation group, which is the terrorist wing of Pakistan's Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Lahore City, Monday (8 / 3). NHK Japanese news agency reported killed eleven people and injured more than 60 people. Currently the security forces are investigating a suspected case of explosive revenge motive against the government crackdown on Islamic radicals.
The attack took place at 08.00 am local time, when a vehicle carrying explosives drove into the building's entrance. The explosion had destroyed the building and some staff as well as civilians become victims. Security forces suspect the incident was a suicide attack. Although suicide bomb attacks continue to occur, Pakistan continued military operations against Islamic militants in the northwest area of the border region with Afghanistan. (NHK / Jb)
