Frankfurt (AFP / Reuters) - World Cup hosts South Africa recorded a rare outcome, when the 2-0 win over Jamaica in a friendly match on Wednesday.
It was the third victory in 16 games for South Africa, whose team consisted of local players have entered the three-week training camp in Germany.
With surprise, Moriri and Siyabonga Nomvete, who was called into the team last month, scored in the second period when dealing with the Jamaican team that had just arrived in the morning.
Moriri kicked off after the match lasted one hour and Nomvete added a goal six minutes before the game ended.
South Africa, which slipped to No. 90 ranking the world, will return to his country after making three friendly matches before the opening World Cup against Mexico in Johannesburg on June 11.
