BI: Affin Holdings Informal In New Report
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Bank Indonesia (BI) said that Malaysian investors, Affin Holdings Bhd, a new report informally about a planned acquisition of Prime Bank Ina.
"New report on an informal basis, but up till now there has been no progress," said Deputy Director of Bank Supervision II BI Joni Swastanto, in Jakarta on Friday.
In previous news Affin Holdings Bhd has done due diligence due dilligence alias as a step to acquire Prime Bank Ina at the end of March 2010.
Currently, Ina Bank shareholders are PT Kharisma Karya Prima controlled 96.02 percent), PT Media Interaction Utama 1.64 percent, the Association of Christian Schools 0.78 percent Djakarta, Indonesia Council of Christian Education Center 0.78 percent and Baktinendra Prawiro 0 , 78 per cent.
Deputy Chairman & Group Managing Director Tan Sri Lodin Wok Boustead Kamarudin, told the Bernama News Agency, mengukpkan that Affin Holdings will buy Bank of Ina to strengthen its position in Indonesia. Boustead Holdings Bhd owns 20 percent stake in Affin Holdings.
Sales of shares of Prime Bank Ina associated with the funding requirements to become a foreign exchange bank in 2011. Besides hoping to be bought by Affin Holdings, Bank Ina Prime also will make an initial public offering (IPO) on the stock market.
