Jakarta (AFP) - BNP Paribas Investment Partners (BNPPIP), which is owned by the merger between BNP Paribas with Fortis Investments, manages funds of 530 billion euros.
BNPPIP CEO, Philippe Marchessaux said in Jakarta Wednesday, the merger produced a company with an asset to the five largest in Europe and the eleventh in the world with funds under management reached EUR 530 billion.
He added that newly merged company is named BNPPIP this will be the company's extensive multi-scale investment with a strong market in Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, France and Italy.
BNPPIP center now has 60 investment professionals with 1200 workers, he added.
Meanwhile in Indonesia, PT Fortis Investments has changed its name to PT Bank BNP Paribas Investments Partners, following the new name of its parent in Europe.
"BNPPIP Indonesia is now managing funds of around Rp19, 4 trillion, which is divided into 20 mutual fund products," said President Director BNPPIP Indonesia, Tino Moorees.
