Consider the Bakiyev government Ask Extradition
Liputan6.com, Bishkek: Kyrgyz interim government is now considering filing for extradition of former President Kurmanbek Bakiyev, from Belarus to his homeland to undergo trial. After the bloody riots in Kyrgyzstan 7 April ago, Bakiyev initially fled to Kazakhstan and then to Belarus.
Request for extradition is possible if found evidence of crimes and he will be responsible for these things, like getting fired on the demonstrators because of sanctions and economic crimes. Moreover, the immune status is not valid Bakiyev, interim government officials said.
Former Kyrgyz Interior Minister Moldomusa Kongantiyev, was arrested in Moscow on Sunday (25 / 4) nights, and is now detained in Bishkek.
