RIM: BlackBerry OS 6 Released 3rd Quarter
ORLANDO, KOMPAS.com - Research In Motion officially announced the planned launch of the Blackberry OS 6, the latest operating system being developed, starting from the upcoming third quarter. The announcement was submitted by Mike Lazaridis, President and Co-CEO of RIM in Orlando, Florida, USA, Monday (04/26/2010) local time ahead of the Wireless Enterprise Symposium (WES) in 2010 to be held April 27 to 29, 2010.
The main changes will be made on the BlackBerry OS 6 is the ability of its web browser. The new browser promises to give a faster access speed, can open more than one web page simultaneously, and supports the zoom function to sweep a finger (pinch to zoom) at the touch sailing products.
Rendering engine will be planted in the platform so that the processing web is no longer fully carried out in RIM's servers, but also performed in the mobile phone.
