President Thanks Secretary Thailand

Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Thursday, received a visit from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Kasit Piromya.

President receives Thai Foreign Minister in the Office of the President at 11:00 am accompanied by Vice Foreign Minister Triyono Wibowo, State Secretary Sudi Silalahi, Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam and other officials.

In that meeting, the President said the relations between the two countries very well and will continue to be improved.

"As you know our relationship is very good and I really hope your visit will mempekuat bilateral relations the two countries and of course this is an important meeting," the president said at the beginning of the meeting.

Head of State in the opportunity it could ask the current situation in Thailand.

"In relation to the situation in Thailand, I will listen to your explanation that I have a clear understanding of what happened in Thailand today as a friend and also a strong partner," he said.

Meanwhile, Thai Foreign Minister was accompanied by the Charge d'Affaires Ad Interim Vutti Vuttisant, Thailand Morakot Sriswasdi Foreign Secretary, Counsellor Patranan Pattiya and numerous other officials.
