Television Steal Burglar Resistance

Amsterdam (ANTARA News / Reuters) - The incident in the Netherlands are in fact able to be farce if it was not a real incident: some thieves have infiltrated the prison for stealing a television which is provided for prisoners.

Twice in six weeks, some thieves have infiltrated the minimum-security prison and steal some TV from cells when the inmates go through a weekend vacation, Justice Ministry spokesman said Wednesday.

The prison, located in the small town of Hoorn - 42 kilometers northeast of Amsterdam, provided for prisoners who are undergoing the final period of their detention.

Installation is what the Dutch government called "environmental protection is very simple," where the transition prisoners back into society.

They are specifically allowed to take leave of absence last weekend, when that was decided by the thieves to exploit.

Theft took place on two separate weeks adrift approximately one month in March and April. Justice Ministry spokesman said the ministry could not confirm how thieves were able to enter the installation.

A woman prosecutor's office spokesman in the region only confirms that the theft at the jail were reported to the police, adding no one has been arrested.
