Want to Visit Tibet's Dalai Lama

Liputan6.com, Dharamsala: Buddhist spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama expressed his desire to visit the birthplace in Tibet, after an earthquake measuring 7.1 on the Richter scale shook the province of Qinghai, China, last Wednesday.

In a news conference at City Dharamsala, northern India, Saturday (17 / 4), the Dalai Lama said, "To fulfill the wishes of the Tibetan people, I want to go there himself in order to provide a sense of comfort." Tibetan community in exile, the Dalai added, wanted to give all the support and assistance and we hope to help through the correct and appropriate channels as soon as possible.

Tibet's exiled spiritual leader also praised the Chinese authorities to visit Tibetan areas.
