Bomb explosion in Russian Ka Station Kills One, injure five
Makhachkala, Russia (AFP / Reuters) - A woman was killed and five others wounded when a bomb exploded in the territory of Dagestan in southern Russia, Friday, local officials said.
A local transport police spokesman said the blast was caused by a bomb placed in storage junk on the platform of a railway station in the town of Derbent.
"The blasts hit the platform when people got on a train that brought people commute to work every day," said the spokesman, who added that three policemen and three civilians were wounded in the blast.
