PLN ratings of AA Plus Escalated So

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Indonesian rating agency raised the state electricity company PT ratings from AA to AA plus minus with a stable outlook.

Rating Company of Indonesia (Outlook) in the disclosure and Friday, explaining bond ratings that apply to the State Electricity Company (PLN) worth Rp10, 54 trillion and Sukuk Ijarah worth Rp1, 56 trillion.

At the same Pefindo also assigned a rating of AA plus for the plan to issue bonds worth PLN XII/2010 Rp2, 5 trillion worth of Sukuk Ijarah Rp0, 5 trillion.

The rating is a reflection of support from the Indonesian government a strong and proven, and payment of subsidy schemes better and timely, and superior market position as well as electricity demand continues to grow.

But the ratings were limited by the fluctuation of foreign currencies to corporate capital structure and capital spending plan with a large amount of capital that could cause the structure to be aggressive and be a moderate cash flow protection.
