VP: Natural Otda Do not Narrow Relations

Yogyakarta (ANTARA) - Nature autonomy (autonomy) which is currently running should not narrow the central and local government relations, says Vice President Boediono.

"Otda should not constrict the relationship between central and local government," Kalla said during a dialogue Boediono in a Regional Leadership Forum the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta, Sunday.

Attending the event were Minister of Home Affairs Gamawan Fauzi, Social Affairs Segaf Salim Al-Jufri, and Yogyakarta Governor Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X.

The vice president, is very important for central and regional leaders to continue to maintain communication with obtaining good.

Boediono said, with the maintained communication will be sought settlement of problems that still exist.

"We want to be able to solve problems efficiently, not wasting money and energy too," added the vice president.

Vice President also said that he wanted to have continued coordination between central and local government, although there is regional autonomy.

"Energy and the funds should not be drained out in vain because there is no coordination," added Boediono.

One proof ditingkatkatkannya central and local coordination, said the Vice President, is meeting with the President, Vice President, ministers, governors and regents in Tampak Siring, last month and in Cipanas, West Java.

Two of the meeting, said the Vice President, is very important in the effort to improve coordination of national and local.
