Flood lunge Encampment, Dozens Killed
Liputan6.com, Arkansas: Around 16 people were reportedly killed by flash floods that hit a camp in a national park area the State of Arkansas, United States. This flood caused by overflow Caddo and Little Missouri River after heavy rain fell continuously.
Floods hit Albert Pike recreation area, an area in the National Park Quachita camp at night, Friday (11 / 6) local time, and swept the tourists who were camping on the spot.
A spokesman for the local Red Cross says there are at least 300 people in the recreation area which contains 54 units of the camp. Officers are still looking for more than 40 people who have not been found. (ADO)
