NU inauguration Executives Institute and the Standing Committee

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Executives of Large Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) in Jakarta, Tuesday, inaugurated the institute board and committee (bureau) in the ranks of the largest Islamic organization in Indonesia.

Inauguration of the board 14 institutions and was conducted by three committee advisory Rais Aam KH Muhammad Ahmad Sahal Mahfudh and General Chairman KH Said Aqil Siroj.

Institutions and the committee are two of the three devices NU organizations, other autonomous bodies.

Within the NU, the institute is an organization that serves as the implementing policies related to a particular field, such as preaching, education, economic, and social.

While the committee is a device NU organizations to deliver programs that require special handling, such as falakiyah committee that deals with astronomy.

Said Aqil said, after the inauguration of the institute and the committee, NU immediately implement various programs mandated to NU-32 conference in Makassar, the end of March.

He said that, some time ago there was a question the stewardship of NU, but by showing a good performance then all parties would provide support, especially related to the benefit of the people.

"NU at this time period will really be a hour` iyyah diniyyah ijtimaiyah or civil society organizations and will not be tempted with practical politics, "he said.
