Continue Resolve Israeli West Bank settlement project

Liputan6.com, Jerusalem: Israeli authorities intend to continue the project of new settlements in the West Bank. Especially, after the new project of the Jewish settlements in East Jerusalem, led to protests a number of countries. The announcement was issued during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was in Washington DC, United States, earlier Wednesday, for talks with U.S. President Barack Obama.

Not only the Americans, the Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon urged Israel, too, plans to freeze new settlement building in East Jerusalem. Told reporters in New York, Ban said, the settlement activity and violating international law must be stopped.

Last Friday, the UN Security Council, Ban has called on Israel to stop all activities seriously settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
