World's shortest man Died At Age 21
Beijing (ANTARA News / Reuters Life) - the world's shortest man, He Pingping from China who is only 74 cm tall, died at the age of 21 years because it seems that complications of heart disease, the book of Guinness World Records announced.
He, who suffered a primordial form of smallness and recognized as the world record holder in 2008, died Saturday in Rome, where he took part in a TV show.
For a little guy like that, he has made a huge impact around the world, "Craig Glenday, editor of Guinness World Records executive based in England, said in a statement.
He was born in Inner Mongolia in northern China in 1988. According to the BBC, he was taken to hospital two weeks ago after suffering from chest complaints.
Guinness announced his death on Monday night.
He is a chain-smoker and his family said he stopped growing after 18 years of age.
