Bekasi Polrestro Carolin As Suspect Not Set
Bekasi (AFP) - Police Resort Metropolitan Bekasi, West Java, state can not mempidanakan Carolin (40), a housewife who allegedly locked her five children for two days with no reason for parties who reported the case to the police.
"Until now we can not process Carolin action through legal channels. Because, until now there is no party who reported it to us," said Head of Unit (visible) Criminal Investigation (Reskrim) Polrestro Bekasi Police Commissioner (Kompol) Ade Ary Syam Indradi in Bekasi, Tuesday.
According to him, there is no strong evidence that mention Carolin intentionally locked her in her house for two days from December 20 until May 21, 2010 last.
"In fact, Carolin husband, Agus (28) has expressed no objection to the behavior of his wife. So, we were hard to ensnare Carolin with criminal law," he said.
To the police, he said, Carolin has dismissed his son intentionally locked. Carolin admitted only to leave them for a while to Jakarta to find her husband.
"As long as his mother gone, her infant son was guarded by the greatest namely Steven (8) and left the commissary," said Ade.
Meanwhile, when Carolin leaving five children in the house with the door locked position padlock from the outside, her neighbors in the vicinity of the rented house which is located in Kaliabang Lagerstroemia RT 02 RW 02, Kelurahan Warrior, Sub Medan Satria, breaking through the house and found the children's cry of hunger.
They are Steven (10), Glen (9), Marsha (2), and the twins Deva and Devi (2 months). They were rushed to General Hospital of the City of Bekasi.
