Election Commission Failed in Four Say Election District
Manila (ANTARA News / Reuters) - Philippine National Election Commission, said Monday the failure of the election will be announced in four districts in Lanao del Sur, Mindanao Island, southern Philippines, where violent acts that hinder the voters to polling places.
"There is no resolution on the issue, but has prepared a recommendation, we may soon be making a briefing," the official said the commission, Gregorio Larrazabal.
He said the elections supervisor could not perform their duties because of the violence occurred.
More than 50 million voters on Monday to use their vote to select 18 000 local and national officials.
