KPK: Sri to the World Bank, Century Road Continues

VIVAnews - Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigation confirmed cases of Century Bank will not be interrupted even if the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani will leave to the World Bank (WB).

"We will continue to do an investigation," said KPK spokesman Johan Budi SP, when contacted, Wednesday, May 5, 2010.

According to Johan, if the Commission needed more information to Sri Mulyani, the concerned should fulfill that calling. "If at any time we need a description, then we will continue to call again. KPK is not affected by the position someone," he said.

KPK had twice asked for information on cases related to Sri Mulyani Century Bank bailouts amounting to Rp 6.7 trillion. Two times the examination was conducted in the office to the minister, Ministry of Finance.

As is known, Sri Mulyani Indrawati was selected as a high advisor for World Bank President Robert Zoellick. Sri Mulyani occupied positions are available only three seats in the world. This is the highest position under Zoellick.

Regarding the news, Sri Mulyani said, "The news was true and now I will still continue to depend on the decision of the President." (Umi)
