Medan (ANTARA) - The couple Maddin SIH and Marganti Manullang which is the incumbent candidate wins in local elections in Hasundutan Humbang Regency, North Sumatra, after reaching 48 894 votes or 60.83 per cent in the process of recapitulation by the Commission.

Chairman of the General Elections Commission (KPU) Humbang Hasundutan (Humbahas) Cosmas Manalu Medan contacted by AFP on Wednesday, said the pair had outperformed the serial number of a pair Esra Sinaga and Hardis Simanullang (numbered 2) which won 2962 votes (1.33 percent) .

The couple was also defeated incumbent Forward Siregar and Thomson partner Sihite (numbered 3) which won 27 128 votes (37.81 percent).

Cosmas states, in the implementation of local elections held on June 9, 2010 there were 113 864 permanent voters list (DPT) are listed in the Commission Humbahas.

But on voting day, only 79 317 votes that came in and recorded at 333 polling stations (TPS) in the area.
