Kim Jong-Il Military Training Base Review

Seoul (ANTARA / Oana-Yonhap) - North Korean leader, Kim Jong-il, reviewed a military training bases and facilities related industries, according to the communist country's official media on Sunday.

Kim "review the training center for the commanding officer of KPA Unit 593" in addition to reviewing a mine, an electronics factory, agricultural cooperatives and the industrial complex machines in northwestern North Korea said the North Korean News Agency (KCNA) in a statement Saturday.

Pyongyang media usually report Kim's activities one day later.

But the reports did not say where the training base is located, is also not explained the rank of officers who are trained.

The visits took place at South Korea's actions designed to punish North Korea in the fields of economics and politics, after blaming Pyongyang warships sunk, Cheonan, corvette weighs 1200 tons in the Yellow Sea border last March.

North Korea rejected the accusations, and threatened war if he was convicted for the sinking of Cheonan, which killed 46 sailors were.
