Naik Siang 36.550 Percent Index
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Composite Stock Price Index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Wednesday morning, closed down 36.550 points or gained 1.29 percent to a level of 2866.723.
LQ whereas 45 also gained 7.883 points (1.43 percent) to a level of 555.375.
Millennium Danatama Securities analyst, Ahmad Riyadi, in Jakarta on Wednesday, said the strengthening of seed stocks making moves up accompanied JCI positive global bourses.
"Strengthening of seed stocks making up the index IDX, plus the movement of Global bourses positive," he said.
Among regional exchanges, the Nikkei-225 index climbed 202.54 points to 10090.43 level, the Straits Times Index rose 33.24 points to 2851.45 level.
The number of shares changing hands reached 2.505 billion pieces and the value of Rp1, 910 billion. A total of 142 shares rose, 40 fell and 60 shares of stock does not move.
