Recovered from the injury, Brown Take World Cup
Wellington - New Zealand midfielder, Tim Brown finally recovered from a shoulder injury suffered. In fact, before he threatened cancellation realize his dream to compete at the World Cup in 2010. Brown will be heading to South Africa on Thursday tomorrow to join the team.
New Zealand coach, Ricki Herbert said the surgeons who deal with Mr Brown had put three screws into the bone Brown and other medical staff in Auckland.
"He will come to South Africa in good condition," said Herbert told the New Zealand Press Association.
Brown is an important player in New Zealand in the World Cup. He was almost absent defend New Zealand squad after injury on the game against Australia 1-2 defeat on 24th of May.
Having diagnosed the injury, Brown had only 50 per cent chance to play in the World Cup this year.
A team spokesman said Brown had lived an extraordinary recovery. She also underwent intensive rehabilitation for two weeks.
