Stay Todung Pansel and Democrats Reject

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Lawyer Todung Mulya Lubis said he decided to remain in the selection committee (pansel) KPK leaders and rejected bids to join the board of supervisors as one of the Democratic Party.

"I have told other pansel members to remain in the leadership pansel KPK," he said on the sidelines Todung pansel Commission meeting in Jakarta on Thursday.

In addition to remain in pansel KPK leaders, Todung also noted that he does so to join in one of the board of supervisors in the position of the Democratic Party.

He also said it had talked with a number of high-ranking Democrat.

Previously, membership in pansel KPK Todung been controversial because he was also rumored to be a member of the board of supervisors Democrat.

Regarding his decision to remain in pansel, Todung argued, that because he did not want the KPK leadership positions fall into the wrong hands.

"I am as anti-corruption activists feel the need to initiate the process of selecting KPK leaders," he said.

He also argued that his commitment to remain in pansel Commission and not to join the Democratic Party is final and can not be changed again.
