Turkey Not Believe in the Israeli Commission of Inquiry

Ankara (AFP / AFP) - Turkey "does not believe" that the commission formed to investigate Israel's assault on the fleet that brought humanitarian aid to Gaza will conduct an impartial investigation, said Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Monday.

"We do not believe that Israel, a country that launched an attack on a civilian convoy in international waters, would conduct an impartial investigation," said Dovutoglu told reporters.

Turkey stressed that the May 31 attack, which killed eight and a Turkish citizen who has double nationality of Turkey and the United States have died, was investigated by a commission "under direct supervision by involving Turkey and Israel," he said.
