Four Killed In Religious Violence
Jos, KOMPAS.com - nuanced Religious Violence in Nigeria return casualties. A group of men armed with machetes, Saturday (07/17/2010), massacred the family of a Christian pastor in the Central Plateau State.
Locals said that unidentified assailants attacked the family home Saturday morning Pastor Nuhu ink Mazah Village, about 12 miles from Jos, Plateau State capital.
As a result of the attack, Pastor Nuhu ink loses wife, two sons and a grandson.
He became the only survivor in his family since he fled and hid when the attackers menyatroni home and burn his church. "I leave everything to God's assessment," he said.
According to military spokesman, at least four other people were also killed in the attack. Many victims who experience a sharp weapon slashes and burned the perpetrator.
Nigerian military and police managed to recover the situation and violence succeeded in muted so it does not spread to other villages.
