Joe Biden Helps Resolve Disputes Iraqi Election
Liputan6.com, Baghdad: United States Vice President Joe Biden held a meeting with senior Iraqi officials in Baghdad, Sunday (4 / 7). This meeting is intended to end the congestion in the general election in Iraq. This meeting as well as providing new hope to the security conditions and circumstances conducive to United States troops.
Biden was scheduled to meet with senior Iraqi officials. In particular, Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki and its main rival, Ayad Allawi.
Biden will also meet with U.S. troops in a ceremony. In this ceremony, some Iraqi soldiers who have served the U.S. military will be sworn in as American citizens.
Persian country hit by a wave of violence since parliamentary elections in March last. Moreover, the election results failed to create a clear majority.
