JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Former Army Chief of Staff of the Air Force Retired Air Marshal TNI Basarah Saleh died. Thus Kompas.com information received from the Marshal Chappy Hakim Retired Army who is also a former KSAU 2002-2005.
In his short message, Chappy said, Saleh passed away due to illness in RS MMC Kuningan, Jakarta, Thursday (11/3/2010) at 03.35 pm. The body lay in state today at the funeral home I/B6 Diamond Street.
The plan, the body will dikemukan at Kalibata Heroes Cemetery in Jakarta. Earlier, the body will be interred in the squad first 17 Lanud Halim Perdanakusuma.
In addition KSAU served between 1973-1977, Saleh served Basarah some pernha also oranisasi. Among others as the Board of KONI, Pertina Chairman, members of the DPA, and the Ambassador of Indonesia to the United Kingdom.
