Taxable Clippers GM Fire
LOS ANGELES, KOMPAS.com - Los Angeles Clippers fired general manager Mike Dunleavy, Tuesday (9/3/2010), one month after he was not active in carrying out their duties as head coach.
"The organization decided this because to build a team that can meet the goal should be a decision," said board Clippers in a statement published in the pages (www.nba.com / Clippers).
"The team did not experience a significant progress during the seven years under the supervision of Dunleavy. Clippers want to win, so it must do something," he says in the page.
Assistant Manager Neil Olshey will take over the job Dunleavy. Dunleavy, who became head coach of the team since 2003, retired from office on February 4.
Clippers are in the order of the 12 western provinces with 25-39 record and lost 87-113 in Orlando, Tuesday, suffered their fourth defeat.
