As a superpower, the United States (U.S.) and Russia often compete in various fields. But unfortunately, the competition between states is not always good for business all right. Both are now crowned as the largest producer of child pornography in the world.

As detikINET quotes from UPI, Wednesday (24/3/2010), the U.S. and Russia ranked first and second producers of child pornography in the world's largest online. This was revealed by a Russian child affairs officials, citing data from the Internet Watch Foundation.

In a raid operation conducted in 2009, for example, as many as 5000 websites banned in Russia because it contains child pornography content.

"We need to fight the crime wave that littered the internet today. We need sophisticated technology and international cooperation," said Pavel Astakhov, officials issue these children.

Astakhov officials often lamented missing from criminals who post child pornography in cyberspace. He also asked the Russian government to establish partnerships with other countries to membendungnya.
