Angelina Sondakh: Women Do not exploited for local elections

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Members of the Democratic Party faction in Parliament, Angelina Sondakh among women warned not to want a tool for the interests of certain groups in the election.

"It is time women are more courageous, do not want to let alone mastered manipulated for political purposes instantaneous," he told AFP in Jakarta, Saturday, in connection with the rise of women artists promoted to deputy vice-regent or mayor in some areas.

Responding to the many women artists who are nominated in the election but only as a deputy, according to Angelina Sondakh, this deserves serious attention, especially by women themselves.

"Still in the context of commemorating the heroic mother of Kartini's spirit, I invite all Indonesian women, have the courage to fight for your right to own, do not just want a tool," he said.

According to him, if women can fight for her own right, then he can give himself to the interests of many people.

"How willing to fight for the people, fighting for his own right if you can not," he said.

Angelina Sondakh also expect, understanding fellow politicians in various parties, in order to place the cadre of women from any background, including the artist according to the correct position, not only as a means to achieve temporary interest.
