Liputan6.com, Houston: United States Coast Guard announced it had to stop the search for 11 miners missing on Friday (24 / 4) local time, after the explosion of oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. Coast Guard also extend my deepest sympathy and prayers to the families of missing victims. "We have made the difficult decision to stop searching," said Coast Guard Rear Admiral Mary Landry.

Previously, Landry converse with the survivors to determine the missing victims who may be around the blast site. Because of this, estimated their chances of survival are slim.

Drilling Deepwater Horizon, is located about 42 km southeast of Venice, Louisiana.
