Bantu Investment Bank Focused EI

Manado (AFP) - President Director of PT Bank Mandiri Persero Tbk Agus Martowardojo said this year the focus assist investment in Eastern Indonesia (KTI).

"This assistance is to stimulate investors willing to invest their funds in order to accelerate the development of Eastern region," said Managing Director of Bank Mandiri, Agus Martowardojo in Manado, Friday.

Agus said that investors need to assist EI in order to accelerate the region's economy so it can grow more quickly so as not to miss the other regions in Indonesia.

"Some of the activities we have done to stimulate investment, two weeks ago Maluku Invesment Day by bringing investors from Jakarta and other regions," said Agus.

While years ago, the same activity titled West Papua Day Investment has been successfully bringing investors to the possibility of their capital invested in the region.

"This is the form of Bank Mandiri in initiatives contribute to local economic growth so that height could grow," said Agus.

High economic growth areas in eastern Indonesia, said Agus will give positive impact to the economy as a whole so that the estimated national growth can be achieved.

Activities to stimulate inward investment, Agus said Bank Mandiri will continue to be portrayed as the biggest bank in Indonesia with assets of Rp394 trillion achieve this.
