HP Windows Will not divorce

Palo Alto, KOMPAS.com - though certainly going to have their own smartphone platform with the acquisition of Palm, HP is not going to break the partnership with Microsoft. Both companies have been known to have close cooperation arguably even exclusive to develop products together.

"We will continue to be a strategic partner of Microsoft, but we believe there are other opportunities that we could get with Palm," said Todd Bradley, one of the Personal Systems Group, HP executives as reported by Engadget, Wednesday (28/04/2010).

HP announced an agreement to acquire Palm for 1.2 billion U.S. dollars. This acquisition process will be completed on July 31, 2010.
