Bukit Asam's profit tumbled 59.5 Percent
Jakarta (ANTARA) - During the first quarter of 2010, PT Tambang Coal Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) to print only the net income of Rp 373.03 billion or 59.5 percent drop compared to the previous same period.
In a report published PTBA financial district, Friday, disebutan decline in net income was driven by the decline in company sales amounted to 23.56 percent to Rp 1.78 trillion.
On the other hand, cost of sales increased 23.6 percent to Rp 1.78 trillion.
While operationally, the company earnings also dropped.
This condition is shown by the decrease in operating income amounted to 64.31 percent from Rp 1.185 trillion to Rp 422.92 billion.
In addition, other revenues, the company also fell from USD 105.456 billion to Rp 57.94 billion.
