Chemical Exposure Increase the Risk of Breast Cancer

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Exposure to chemicals and pollutants in the workplace before a person aged 30 years will increase the risk of breast cancer after the age of menopause.

Some researchers found a link between breast cancer and a number of hazardous chemicals. They conduct investigations to determine the level of exposure to large sebarapa the respondents against 30 types of hazardous materials in their work environment. The results, published in the journal Occupational and Environmental Medicine, is consistent with the theory that states the breast tissue is more sensitive to chemicals hazardous if exposed when cells in the breast are still active (before age 40 years).
