Farmers complains High Fertilizer Prices
Liputan6.com, Probolinggo: Increase the highest retail prices of subsidized fertilizer based on the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture No. 32 of 2010 made a number of farmers in Probolinggo, East Java, found it difficult. According to a fertilizer dealer in Jalan Sudirman, the increase in fertilizer prices ranging from 25 percent to 35 percent. Prices do not include the profits taken by the seller of fertilizer.
This makes the cost of planting increased and increasingly burdensome considering the price of grain farmers are now down. Farmers expect the government to review the fertilizer price increase, or at least create a stable grain price in the market. (ADO)
