JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - For pedangdut Jupe Julia Perez alias stand as Regent (Cabup) Pacitan is a form of devotion to the nation.

"We know at this point in the path of government, the nation's most important as a child I want to devote the same nation," Jupe said when met at the Hotel Mulia, Jakarta, Friday (2/4/2010).

Jupe groom by the eight parties to run for the Regent Pacitan since 23 April, admitted to not believe the opportunity to run for regent. "I was shocked how that could happen to me. This is an opportunity for me to do better," he added.

However, Jupe who have no experience in politics confessed remained optimistic and was not afraid to fail. "I am a woman who is not afraid of failure, I want to keep trying and trying to keep going," said Jupe. (FAN)
