Pontianak (ANTARA) - The Central Government will build a special housing in the border area for members of the TNI and Police who served in the region.

It was announced by the Ministry of Housing Suharso Monoarfa in Pontianak, Sunday, after becoming the main speaker in the Regional Working Meeting of the Association of Indonesian Young Businessmen.

According to him, members of the Police and Armed Forces are eligible to occupy it and treated the two institutions.

However, he continued, the house became the property of their status is not a member of the Armed Forces or National Police.

He added that the Ministry of Housing plans to build a rental apartment (rental public housing) for the Armed Forces in some areas.

Among Bogor, Bekasi, Medan, Bandung, Aceh, Maluku, Pontianak, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Magelang and other cities.

He hopes, the TNI also can provide land for the construction of rental public housing for its soldiers.

He is committed to work to improve the capacity of housing accommodation for police development.

Rental public housing development program that will be implemented through consolidation of related agencies.

In the year 2009, the Ministry of Housing to build 11 twin blocks rusunawa to TNI and the Police in Jakarta.

While in the year 2010 will build about 28 blocks to accommodate residents twins.
