Accept Resignation of President Cheska PM
Prague (ANTARA News / Reuters), - Prime Minister Cheska January Fischer submitted his resignation letter to President Vaclav Klaus on Friday at 10:00 local time, said the president's office.
Resignation, according to the law, following the opening session of the lower house after a general election in May
That will allow President Klaus to appoint a new prime minister, who is almost certainly set on the left-wing Civic Democrat-center, Petr Necas, in the coming weeks.
According to tradition, the president will ask the prime minister who resigned his cabinet to keep it and assume his duties until a new government is formed.
Necas is leading the coalition talks with two other center-wing party, TOP09 and Public Affairs, after the three parties won 118 seats of the 200 parliamentary seats in elections on May 28 to 29 then.
He said he wanted to reach an agreement in early July to form a new government in order to prepare the 2011 budget.
